Serving Muskoka since 2006, djC Music is a disc jockey service based in Baysville, and is owned and operated by Cheryl Francis. Ably assisted by her husband, Don Lawlor, together, they provide music, lighting, special effects, emceeing, and other services by request. Customer service is front-and-centre and both are eager to please and help make events memorable and fun!

After many years doing it as a hobby, Cheryl finally took the advice of friends and family to convert her skills into a business. Cheryl and Don take it very seriously and to that end, present themselves professionally and honourably. They wear semi-formal attire to all events and are members of the Toronto chapter of the Canadian Disc Jockey Association.

djC’s music catalogue is updated weekly. To date, she has nearly 50,000 songs in her catalogue spanning numerous generations and genres.

They work closely with their clients and, should song(s) not already be included in djC’s current catalogue, they will try to get them ahead of the event. djC is also happy to accommodate guest requests and has a ready supply of cards and pens available at every event.

Music is central to the overall feel of any event – more so than the food and décor (in djC’s biased opinion!). There is no better impact than music for creating great memories and lasting impressions. There’s no doubt that Cheryl has the music. But what she also brings is an intuitive understanding of what it takes to make a party happen – A direct result of her knowledge of music.
